Acting Basics for Home Schoolers (Ages 7-11)
Learn the basics of acting, gain self-confidence, and have lots of fun,
too! This course is designed specifically for home-schooled students by
combining theatre history, world history, and literature into one
unique course. The semester will culminate in a short play that will
showcase the efforts of the class both as actors and as students.
Shakespeare in ACTion (for homeschoolers) (Ages 12-17)
Shakespeare CAN be fun! This class aims to not only instruct students
in basic acting skills, but also to develop the strengths and overcome
the weakness of each individual student. This all-inclusive class will
incorporate "period" history and literature, and aims to educate
students not only in Shakespeare's plays, but also in the lives and
times of Shakespeare himself. The course will culminate in a
Shakespearean performance that will WOW any Shakespeare cynic!
