ASF now offers in-school workshopsASF SchoolFest preparation workshop
A team of actors will visit your school with a one hour workshop (limited to 35 students) which will prepare students for an ASF SchoolFest production of Henry VIII or The Merry Wives of Windsor. These workshops actively involve students in learning activities introducing them to the exciting world of drama. Fee $200.
Other theatre workshops
A team of teaching artists will come to your school with any one of the following programs:
Shakespeare: Bringing the Bard to Life - A one hour performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream followed by a discussion and one-hour workshop exploring language, plot and character.
(performance for 35-300 students, workshop limited to 35)
Fee $500
Actor in the classroom - professional ASF Acting Company Member will visit your classroom to discuss "the profession". Students may ask questions and find out "the real story" of acting in today's world of entertainment.
